Synopsis
片中主角永鴻，是高雄拍片支援中心的短期約聘人員。他平常協助劇組勘景，偶爾也客串一些角色。紀錄的同時，永鴻正在一處剛開放的軍事遺址「地洞」，幫某劇組擔任臨時演員。
之前，他曾寫過一個劇本。故事關於他自己，關於一家三口，關於過勞早逝的母親，也關於一個又賭又嫖、長期家暴母親的「那個人」。
而這部影片，就是從這個劇本開始……
The film follows Yong-hong, a short-term contract worker at the Kaohsiung Film Assistance Center. His usual work is to help film crews scout locations, while occasionally appearing in small roles. During the filming of this documentary, Yong-hong is working as an extra for a crew at a newly opened military heritage site known as “the tunnel.”
He once wrote a screenplay about himself: a family of three, a mother who died young from overwork, and “that person,” a man who gambled, visited sex workers, and subjected his mother to long-term domestic violence.
This film begins with that screenplay.

曾經看過一位詩人這樣寫，她說家庭是「第一個屋簷、第一個刑台、最早的蜜、最不可消化的刺」。這部短片，或許就是想要描述這樣的一個複雜綜合體，關於家、關於人。
I once read a line by a poet who described family as “the first roof, the first execution platform, the earliest honey, and the most indigestible thorn.” Perhaps this short film is an attempt to describe such a complex whole: about home, and about being human.

Biography
許慧如有時是影像工作者，更多的時候是兩個孩子的媽。她的作品關注生與死，透過家庭或某些特定場域，重新理解生命經歷苦痛的意義，並以安靜的凝視洞悉人存在於世的荒謬。作品曾入圍金馬獎、日本山形紀錄片影展等國內外重要影展。
Hsu Hui-ju is sometimes an image-maker, and more often a mother of two. Her work focuses on life and death, re-examining the meaning of suffering through family and specific places. With a quiet gaze, her films observe the absurdity of human existence. Her works have been selected by major film festivals in Taiwan and abroad, including the Golden Horse Awards and the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival.
