About SVCAI 關於我們
SinoVisual Culture and Arts Institute (SVCAI) is a nonprofit organization based in Maryland, United States, dedicated to the creation, dissemination, research, and promotion of Sinophone visual culture and the arts.
Through film, visual arts, photography, design, and publishing, the Institute fosters cross-cultural exchange, supports independent creation and free expression, and presents both the lived cultural realities and the artistic spirit of the global Sinophone community.
華語視覺文化與藝術研究所（SVCAI）是一家總部位於美國馬里蘭州的非營利機構，致力於華語視覺文化與藝術的創作、傳播、研究與推廣。
本研究所透過電影、藝術、攝影、設計與出版等多種形式推動跨文化交流，促進獨立創作與自由表達，呈現華人世界的現實文化生活與藝術精神世界。
Mission & Vision 使命與願景
Through screenings, exhibitions, creation, publishing, research, and collaboration, we promote the visual culture and arts of the Sinophone world, present independent cultural and artistic expressions with both depth and breadth, and build a platform that connects global Sinophone creators with the international community.
透過放映、展覽、創作、出版、研究與合作，推廣華語世界的視覺文化藝術，呈現具有深度與廣度的獨立文化藝術表達，並建構一個連結全球華語文化藝術創作者與國際社會的文化藝術平台。

Sinophone Independent Film Showcase
Sinophone Independent Film Showcase (held annually, followed by a touring program), dedicated to promoting and introducing outstanding Sinophone independent films.
Publishing
Publishing and distribution of works and publications by Sinophone directors, artists, and writers, fostering the dissemination and influence of independent Sinophone cultural thought and artistic movements.
